Laya Waves is a new property located in Kalkudah. Consisting of chalets the rooms are modern and spacious and luxurious with amenities such as Cable television, a mini fridge, an electronic safe, IDD telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and attached bathrooms with hot and cold water. Rooms also come with either a balcony or a terrace that overlooks the gorgeous blue ocean and are available as deluxe single, double and family rooms. The main restaurant faces the sea so guests can enjoy the calming effect of the sea while eating their tasty meals. The Laya Waves also has a bar and a large swimming pool along with a pool bar. When not in the pool or on the beach guests can enjoy a game of pool, chess, carom or catch up on some reading at the mini library. The property also has a gym.
Guests have easy access to the inviting Kalkudah beach which is near Passikudah and is a popular stretch of beach in the East Coast of Sri Lanka. The area has steadily developed into a tourist destination with good hotels and guesthouses coming up. A holiday here includes hours of fun in the sun on the beach and mouth watering seafood.
